Black Woman Artist (BWA) is a feminist culture literary and art platform that features writing and translations by visual artist and poet Ibtisam Tasnim Zaman with an occasional BIPOC guest writer. BWA unpacks layers of patriarchy, misogynoir, and narratives of BIPOC femme artists through studio visits, artist interviews, literary analysis, exhibition reviews, intimate musings, and always poetry.
